A report and informal discussion on the Institute’s Transnational Rules of Civil Procedure project will be held on Tuesday, May 16, beginning at 8:00 a.m. in the Chinese Room of The Mayflower in Washington during the Annual Meeting. Reporters Geoffrey C. Hazard, Jr., and Michele Taruffo and Associate Reporter Antonio Gidi will seek the views of interested Institute members on a draft to be considered in Rome later in May by a special Unidroit Working Group organized to consider the project. The draft has been sent to the Advisers and Members Consultative Group for the Transnational Rules project in advance of the Annual Meeting, but others may request an advance copy from the ALI Executive Office in Philadelphia or obtain a copy during the Annual Meeting at the Registration Desk.
