Sarah Cave is a partner at Hughes Hubbard & Reed, where she concentrates on securities litigation, accountants’ liability, and bankruptcy litigation. She has worked on several of the largest financial crisis-related litigations of the last several years, including Lehman Brothers, MF Global, and Bernard L. Madoff securities.

She clerked for Judge Joan A. Lenard on the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and later was a staff law clerk to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.

Ms. Cave was Chair of the Federal Legislation Committee for the New York City Bar Association for two years.  She served four years as an Advisory Board Member to the First Step Program. The Legal Aid Society has honored her with its Pro Bono Publico Award on seven occasions.
