Beatrice Butchko has been a judge of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court in Florida since January 2006. She has taught as an adjunct professor at the University of Miami School of Law since 2005.
She began her career as an assistant state attorney for Miami-Dade County, and later worked as an associate of the law firm of Kaye, Rose & Maltzman. In 2001, she became a partner of Ferrell Schultz, and then worked as a partner of Kirkpatrick & Lockhart Nicholson Graham. From 2001 to 2005, prior to joining the court, she served as special counsel to the Florida Judicial Qualifications Commission.
