David Geiger is a partner at Foley Hoag LLP. He served for seven years as Deputy Chair and Chair of Foley Hoag’s Litigation Department, and since 1989 has headed the firm’s Product Liability and Complex Tort Practice Group.

Mr. Geiger represents business clients in many types of disputes, notably pharmaceutical and medical device product liability, toxic torts, medical and genetics negligence, breach of privacy, class actions, multidistrict litigation, governmental actions, insurance litigation, breaches of contract, allegations of fraud and unfair trade practices, commercial warranty disputes and intellectual property controversies.

Mr. Geiger handles cases in the state and federal courts in Massachusetts and throughout the country. He has also submitted amicus briefs on important product liability, evidentiary and punitive damages issues in a variety of courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court.
