W. Scott Hastings

Scott Hastings is a partner at Locke Lord. A former law clerk to Judge John Minor Wisdom of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, he has broad appellate and trial experience. He has presented arguments in the United States Supreme Court, Texas Supreme Court, and numerous federal and state courts of appeals. Scott has also tried cases in both Texas and Louisiana. His substantive areas of practice include constitutional law, statutory interpretation, property rights, class actions, oil and gas law, and commercial disputes.
