Elizabeth Cabraser Receives Lifetime Achievement Award from ‘The American Lawyer’
Elizabeth J. Cabraser of Lieff Cabraser was the recipient of The American Lawyer’s Lifetime Achievement Award. She was presented with the award at the annual American Lawyer Industry Awards ceremony in New York on Dec. 4.
During her acceptance speech Ms. Cabraser spoke on what she believes it means to be a lawyer—and why she has dedicated herself to the law as a career.
“The law is a profession, a business, an industry, an avocation, a vocation and a calling,” she said, “but more than anything it is an endless and ever-evolving project to which we are each honored to lend the work of our lifetimes.”
