Gender, the Law, and the 2016 Presidential Election

The New Jersey Women Lawyers Association will host a nonpartisan presentation addressing the gender-related considerations in the legal profession, the law, and the political arena.

The program will feature a panel of highly accomplished women in law. Panelists include immediate past president of the ABA and partner of Locke Lord LLP Paulette Brown, and Chair of the ABA Commission on Women and New York Public Library General Counsel Michele Coleman Mayes. The panel will discuss the conclusions drawn from the demographics and trends in the 2016 elections cycle as they relate to gender, politics, representation, and leadership.

The presentation will take place in New Brunswick, N.J., on May 9.
