In Memoriam: Steven A. Brick

Judicial Arbitration & Mediation Services judge Steven A. Brick passed away. He was 70.

Judge Brick spent most of his legal career with Orrick, Harrington & Sutcluffe, which he joined in 1973 until his appointment to the Alameda County Superior Court in 2001. He served as president of the Bar Association of San Francisco and was president of the Northern California chapter of the Association of Business Trial Lawyers. Judge Brick served in the Law and Motion, and the Civil Trial and Complex Litigation Departments. He also sat by designation on the California Court of Appeal for one year. 

Judge Brick retired from the court in September 2015 and became a private judge with Judicial Arbitration & Mediation Services (JAMS).
