Randy J. Maniloff Interviews Dan Abrams

Randy J. Maniloff of White and Williams sat down with ABC News chief legal affairs anchor Dan Abrams in an interview for Law360 to take an exclusive look into the past, present, and future of Abram’s career in law and media while providing a first look between the pages of his new book, "Lincoln’s Last Trial: The Murder Case That Propelled Him to the Presidency".

“Lincoln’s Last Trial” delivers insight into the life and times of one of America’s most written about presidents while also offering a totally new viewpoint. The book provides an in-depth study of Lincoln’s 24 year career as a lawyer, and a case which defined his perspective on law, and ultimately his presidency.

Abrams also shares some insight into his own history, his legal career, and his rise to fame, touching on the OJ trial, his work with NBC News, “The Abrams Report,” and his work with Nancy Grace on Grace vs. Abrams. Mr. Maniloff delves into how this unique journey led Abrams to the decision to start the Law & Crime Network, which centers on recent and past public fascination with crime trials.

Mr. Maniloff suggests that perhaps the secret to Abram’s success is his unique ability to balance the lessons of the past with the possibilities of the future.
