New Maplewood School Named After Alan Page
The North St. Paul-Maplewood-Oakdale School Board voted to name a new Maplewood elementary school in honor of former Associate Justice of the Minnesota Supreme Court and retired professional football player Alan C. Page.
"Justice Page has been a friend to District 622 and a supporter to many of our alumni and staff of color in their pursuit of higher education," said Superintendent Christine Tucci Osorio. "His legacy will have a positive impact on our school community for generations to come."
Justice Alan Page Elementary, now under construction on the site of Maplewood Middle School, will open in September 2022. The new school is the second to be named after Justice Page.
