In an article for Newsweek, Risa L. Goluboff of UVA School of Law shares her thoughts on who could be the new swing vote in the wake of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy’s retirement. 

Dean Goluboff suggests "Chief Justice Roberts will become the new ideological center of the court based on the data that we have" but notes that he is less likely to swing his vote.
