Thomas Lee Joins Defense Advisory Committee on Diversity and Inclusion

Thomas H. Lee of Fordham Law School has been selected as a member of the Department of Defense’s (DOD) new Defense Advisory Committee on Diversity and Inclusion. The DOD “looked to the nation’s talented, innovative private and public sector leaders, whose service will provide a more diverse and inclusive perspective that promotes variety in background, experience, and thought in support of the committee’s mission.”
The committee will provide advice and recommendations to improve diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity within the DOD and U.S. armed forces. Members will conduct public hearings, site visits, and other activities to reach its goal.
