2026 Annual Meeting CLE Package
The information is for registrants who paid for the 2026 Annual Meeting CLE Package.
ALI will seek 17.5 hours of credit in 60-minute states, and 21 hours of credit in 50-minute states, including one ethics hour, for the two Sunday programs and the project sessions being held in the ballroom May 17-20. Credit hours are estimated and are subject to each state’s approval and credit rounding rules.
Please complete and return the CLE form [Insert Link] to the ALI Registration Desk before the close of the Annual Meeting on May 20 or email it to membership@ali.org. Attendees who have paid the CLE fee will receive their certificate by June 30.

Frequently Asked Questions
I will not be requesting CLE credit for all the days of the Annual Meeting. Do I still need to pay the full CLE Fee or can I get a partial refund?
Yes. The $175 CLE Administration Fee includes all CLE-eligible programming during the Annual Meeting, including the Sunday programs and the project sessions held in the ballroom (May 17-20). CLE credit is not offered on a daily or per-session basis.
What states approve of the ALI’s Annual Meeting CLE Credit?
All states approve except for Virginia.
Which program or session is eligible for one ethics credit hour?
ALI will seek two hours of CLE credit, including one ethics hour, for the AI in Chambers and Legal Practice program on Sunday, May 17.
Do I need to sign in and out at the registration desk every day I attend the Annual Meeting to receive CLE credit?
If you are seeking credit in Delaware, New York, or New Jersey, you are required to sign in before your first session of the day and sign out after your last session of the day.
When do I need to submit my completed CLE form to ALI?
Please complete and return this form to the ALI Registration Desk before the close of the Annual Meeting on Wednesday, May 20, or before you depart. You may also email the completed form to membership@ali.org. If submitting by email, please do so as soon as possible following the Annual Meeting.
How much credit will I receive?
The number of CLE credits you will earn depends on the programs and project sessions you attend. Attendees who participate in both Sunday programs and all project sessions may earn up to 17.5 credit hours in 60-minute states and up to 21 credit hours in 50-minute states. The total includes one hour of ethics credit.
Can I self-report my CLE credit?
The following states are self-reporting states: Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Iowa, Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Dakota, Puerto Rico, Vermont, Virgin Islands, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
Why don’t I see my state on the CLE form?
There is no CLE Requirement for Maryland, Massachusetts, South Dakota, or Michigan.
The program time ran over or under the time listed on the CLE form, and I don’t know what to do.
ALI staff will adjust the session times and submit to the state(s) accordingly.
I am requesting credit in Arkansas and/or Kansas. What do I need to do?
Please see the staff at the registration desk and complete the Arkansas and/or Kansas Certificate of Attendance.
When will I receive my CLE certificate(s)?
If you submit your CLE form immediately after the Annual Meeting, you will receive your certificate at the email address on file in approximately 30 days.
How can I receive a certificate of attendance?
Please ask the staff at the on-site registration desk (Roosevelt Room).
If I don’t need the hours and I am prepaid, can I get a refund?
Yes. Please submit your request to membership@ali.org by May 13 or notify the registration staff at time of check-in.
