Cynthia Nance Named ABF Chair

Cynthia E. Nance of University of Arkansas School of Law is the chair of the Fellows of the American Bar Foundation. She is part of a four-person team heading the Fellows, a “global honorary society of attorneys, judges, law faculty, and legal scholars whose public and private careers have demonstrated outstanding dedication to the highest principles of the legal profession and to the welfare of their communities.”

"It is an honor to serve as chair of the ABF Fellows and to help support and advance its innovative scholarship," Nance said on the appointment. "ABF's research has a profound impact on not just the legal community and policymakers but also the general public — it promotes understanding of the law, protection and access to justice."
