ALI member and project Adviser for the Project on Sexual & Gender-Based Misconduct on Campus: Procedural Frameworks and Analysis, Dean A. Strang of Strang Bradley LLC is featured in the highly popular Netflix documentary, Making a Murderer.
The documentary recounts the case of Steven Avery, who was convicted of the sexual assault and attempted murder of Penny Beernsten, and served 18 years for this crime. After being exonerated with the assistance of DNA analysis, Mr. Avery was subsequently accused and convicted of the murder of Teresa Halbach. Mr. Strang represented Mr. Avery, and is featured in the documentary, which took a span of ten years to film.
