The Business Law Section of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s upcoming program, Giants of the Business Bar, will feature ALI Council member Amelia Boss of Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law. Trustee Professor Boss will be recognized for her leadership and significant impact on the practice of business law.
Professor Boss is involved in revising the UCC as a member of the Permanent Editorial Board of the Uniform Commercial Code. She is an Adviser for the Restatement of the Law, Consumer Contracts project, and has also been an MCG participant for multiple ALI projects, including the Restatement of the Law, Employment Law. Professor Boss was the first professor and second woman to have chaired the American Bar Association's Business Law Section.
The event will take place on October 22 at 5:30 p.m. at the Wells Fargo History Museum.
