Ivan K. Fong of 3M Co. talks to Corporate Counsel about the importance of pro bono work from global businesses and the contributions the legal department at 3M has made towards social justice and community service.
“Pro bono work exposes legal professionals to new areas of law, and sharpens their legal analysis and client communication skills,” Mr. Fong explains.
The 3M team partners with over 20 different groups working towards the greater good, including the International Refugee Assistance Project, the Association of Corporate Counsel and the Legal Aid Society, as well as law firms like Baker & Mackenzie, Dentons, Faegre Baker Daniels, Hogan Lovells, and Greene Espel.
