Kami Chavis will join the law faculty of William & Mary Law School as the R. Hugh and Nolie Haynes Professor of Law for the 2022-2023 academic year, pending the Board of Visitors’ final approval. Paul Marcus, the current holder of the Haynes Professorship, will retire from the law faculty in May.
“I am thrilled to join the esteemed faculty of William & Mary Law School. I look forward to collaborating with colleagues and students on scholarship and initiatives that address the most difficult issues in criminal justice today,” said Chavis.
