Kannon Shanmugam Profiled by Law.com

Kannon K. Shanmugam of Paul, Weiss was recently profiled by Law.com about his work with the firm and the news that they secured five certiorari grants from the Supreme Court of the United States over the course of a year when the Court has taken up fewer than 50 cases. 

In the piece, “How Kannon Shanmugam and His Paul Weiss Team Have Scored More Than 10% of SCOTUS Cert Grants This Year,” Mr. Shanmugam shares his strategy for “getting the court’s attention” and reflects on the challenges and benefits of having to argue Supreme Court cases by phone as a result of the pandemic.

Abbe Gluck Joins Board of NYC Bar Association

ALI Council member Abbe R. Gluck, Alfred M. Rankin Professor of Law and faculty director of the Solomon Center for Health Law and Policy at Yale Law School, has been selected as a new member of the board of the New York City Bar Association, its leadership body. Gluck is also a professor of internal medicine (General Medicine) at Yale School of Medicine and a professor in the Institution for Social and Policy Studies at Yale.
