Harvard University has announced that Supreme Court of California Justice Mariano-Florentino Cuéllar is one of five newly elected members to the Board of Overseers.
The Overseers were chosen from eight candidates, who were nominated by a Harvard Alumni Association committee. The Harvard University Board of Overseers, a university governing board organized in 1650, is entrusted with ensuring that Harvard maintains the highest possible academic and scholarly standards.
