Matthew Fletcher to Give the 16th Annual Rennard Strickland Lecture

Matthew L.M. Fletcher of University of Michigan Law School will give the 16th annual Rennard Strickland Lecture Series at the University of Oregon Environmental and Natural Resources Law Center.

The Rennard Strickland Lecture Series was established in 2006 to honor the legacy of dean Rennard Strickland, and to build on his contributions to Indian law, legal education, and to the Environmental and Natural Resources and Indian law programs at the University of Oregon School of Law. The lecture series examines native leadership and vision for environmental stewardship in the 21st century.

Fletcher’s talk, entitled “The Dark Matter of Indian Law: The Duty of Protection to Indian Tribes,” will take place on Monday October 24 at 6pm PT. The lecture is available in-person or online.
