The University of Chicago Law School has named Omri Ben-Shahar the Leo and Eileen Herzel Distinguished Service Professor of Law.
Ben-Shahar is the?Kearney Director of the?Coase-Sandor Institute for Law and Economics at the law school. He teaches contracts, sales, trademark law, consumer law, and more. Before coming to the University of Chicago, he was the Kirkland & Ellis Professor of Law and Economics at the University of Michigan. Ben-Shahar is a Reporter for Restatement of the Law, Consumer Contracts, which was completed at the 2022 Annual Meeting.
