At the Fellows of the American Bar Foundation (ABF) 68th Annual Fellows Awards Reception and Banquet, Suzette M. Malveaux of University of Colorado Law School and Joanne Martin of American Bar Endowment were presented the Outstanding Service Award and Distinguished Life Fellow Award, respectively.

The Outstanding Service Award is given to an individual who “in their professional career, adhered to the highest principles and traditions of the legal profession and to the service of the public.” Malveaux will be recognized for her commitment to civil rights and access to justice throughout her career.

The Distinguished Life Fellow Award is given in recognition of “sustained and significant professional achievement and public service.” Martin has served vital roles in the ABF, American Bar Endowment, and American Bar Association throughout her career.

The 68th Annual Fellows Awards Reception and Banquet took place on February 3. Learn more about Malveaux’s recognition here, and Martin’s recognition here.
