The Russell Sage Foundation has named Tracey L. Meares of Yale Law School a 2023-2024 Visiting Scholar. The fellowship brings leading scholars in social sciences together to pursue their writing and research in residence at the foundation’s New York headquarters.
Meares will coauthor a book on the effect of the criminal legal system on the civic identities of legally innocent people.
Meares served as Associate Reporter for Principles of the Law, Policing, completed at the 2022 Annual Meeting. She is a founding director of the Justice Collaboratory at Yale Law School.
