Evan Slavitt started out his career as a trial attorney in the Antitrust Division  of the United States Department of Justice, and then served as an Assistant US Attorney for the District of Massachusetts. He then moved to private practice concentrating on white collar criminal defense, environmental law, and complex commercial disputes. In 2007, Mr. Slavitt moved in-house to be the General Counsel of Kyocera AVX Electronic Components. Most recently, he was the General Counsel of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and is now the General Counsel of the Louis D. Brandeis Center for Human Rights Under Law, an organization committed to fighting antisemitism. Mr. Slavitt is a frequent author and lecturer on legal topics.
