Seymour Abrahamson, Husband of Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice, Passes

July 25, 2016

Seymour Abrahamson, husband of ALI Council Emeritus and former Chief Justice Shirley Abrahamson of the Wisconsin Supreme Court, died Saturday in Madison, Wisconsin. He was 88. During his career as a zoology professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, he served as chair of the zoology department, published more than 100 articles in scientific journals, received a number of distinguished awards and lectured across the United States, Europe and Asia.
