Revesz on Air Pollution, Public Health, and EPA Rulemaking

Richard L. Revesz, ALI director emeritus, professor of law and dean emeritus at NYU School of Law, and former Administrator of the White House Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs (2023–2025), has published a New York Times opinion essay titled “The Trump Administration Now Thinks Clean Air Is Worthless.” The piece discusses the Environmental Protection Agency’s recent approach to evaluating the costs and benefits of air pollution regulations, including how the agency accounts for public health impacts.
